Simple Steps to get you started

1.     If you have not already then you need to Register for a free AVMS account which gives you access to Project Mgt, downloads, forums etc....
2.     If you don’t receive email from us right away then email AVMS_support@avworkz.com and request to turn on your services. Please include your company name as you want it listed on your account. You will be contacted within 24hrs that your account has been set up.
3.     You now have full access to the site and all it’s free tools, not to mention the power of Firewall Friendly remote access to your systems!
4.     If you want to remotely manage resources in your projects go to the download page and pull down the RMM code and add it to all Crestron systems you plan to manage. If you are not using Crestron then grab our communications API and enable anything to work with AVMS. (You should start adding this to every project, even if it is not internet connected, so that at some point in the future you may access the system.)
5.     From the “Device Tools” menu select “Resource Manager” (you will see this after AVWorkz has initialized your account for monitoring) you should click on the first unused resource to select it for editing. Then Type the Resource and Group information into the system and press “Update Name”.
6.     Next you need to obtain a Resource Identifier Number that you will assign to each new resource you plan to remotely monitor. From the “Tools” menu select “Resource information and Notes”. At the bottom of this page there is a large number that states you should give this to your developer for assignment to the RMM. This number will identify your control system when it connects to the service.
7.     Much of the information on each resource is optional, but you may find that it’s better to let AVMS remember the details of a site than to try and keep them in your head.
